Trudging back to her apartment, she sighed as she dug her keys out of her bag. This show was killing her. It was beyond frustrating to keep working her hardest and still be unsure if she’d be able to perform any given night because of her voice giving out.

Opening the door and closing the door behind her, she flicked on the light and went towards the kitchen. She gasped and clutched her heart when she passed her open bedroom door, a hulking figure perched on her bed. Instinctively reached down, she slipped off her heel and held it up, “Who the fuck-?” She shouldn’t have locked the door; she couldn’t make a quick escape if necessary.

“Good evening, Juliet,” that velveteen voice interrupted her.

She blinked at him dumbly, dropping the shoe. “Damien?! You scared the shit out of me. How’d you get in here?”

“I never have a problem getting where I want to be,” he shrugged nonchalantly.

She dropped her bag on the kitchen counter. “You don’t seem to want to be around often.”

“That might be about to change, my dear.” He smiled, watching her intently.

“I’d like it to change,” she murmured, biting her lip as she looked at him.

“Would you?” He quirked a brow. “How much?”

She shrugged, admitting, “I’m lonely. And I really like you.”

“Come here, pet,” he encouraged, patting the space on the bed next to him. She walked into her bedroom, seating herself in his lap instead and kissing him thickly. Chuckling, he curled his arms around her. “You never can just be obedient, can you?”

“What’s the fun in that?” she breathed, pushing him back on her bed and straddling him instead.

He rolled them over, pinning her down. “I think it can be great fun.” He suddenly looked down at her seriously, his hands clamping around her wrists. “Do you want to be with me forever, Juliet?”

“I think I’d like you to come around a little more often before I make that decision,” she smirked despite the fear stirring inside her at his somber tone and the feeling of entrapment as his hold on her wrists tightened.

“I think I can convince you,” he told her, his lips brushing against hers.

“How?” She pretended to be unimpressed.

“I’ll make you cum like you never have before,” he growled, his grip on her wrists growing even tighter as he pressed a searing kiss to her plump lips.

She shrugged, “That sounds nice, but you can’t convince me if you don’t stick around.”

“I would think a taste would be enough to know what you want,” he murmured, trailing thick kisses down her jaw, his teeth scraping against her throat.

Swallowing, she protested, “I’m more – oh! – of a gl- glutton. I just want to devour everything.”

“A sampling isn’t enough for you?” he breathed, his lips brushing against hers.

“I’m more of a three-course girl,” she corrected, leaning up to try to kiss him without success.

“I think that can be arranged.” Smirking, he held her wrists with one of his large ones, loosening his tie. He slipped
